Information That Is Automatically Collected. We may use various technologies to automatically collect certain non-personally identifiable information about your visits to our Site. For instance, when you visit the Site, information such as your Internet Protocol address, the dates and times that you visit the Site, your unique device or user ID, system and browser type, the referring address website, and/or the content and pages that you access on the Site may be automatically collected by us. We also may capture the user agent string from your device in order to help us identify the type of device you are using to interact with the Site (e.g. desktop, tablet, mobile device). Please note, however, that no Personally Identifiable Information (as defined below) is collected by the user agent string.
Among other such technologies, the Site uses the Google Analytics™ service as an analytical tool to collect non-personal information in the form of various usage and user metrics. As a result of this use, your web browser will automatically send certain information to Google® when you visit the Site. To understand how Google uses such data, please visit www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.
In addition, we may use various tracking technologies, such as “cookies” and “pixel tags”, to collect and store certain non personally-identifiable user data, such as your browser, IP and device information.
Cookies are small text files that web sites place in your browser when you visit them. Cookies can accomplish several things. When you return to a site that has previously placed its cookie on your browser, the site is able to access the cookie to uniquely identify your browser. The cookie can then recall your preferences at the website, help content render more efficiently, and help to improve the overall user experience on the website. To the extent applicable, the cookie can also help advertisers see what interests you and what advertising may be relevant to you. Please note, however, that cookies cannot be used to access any other data on your computer. You may read more about cookies, including how you may disable them, at www.allaboutcookies.org. Pixel tags are small strings of code that provide a method for delivering a graphic image on a web page or other document. Pixel tags allow the operator of the web page or other document, or a third party who serves the pixel tag, to set, read, and modify cookies. Pixel tags may also be used to obtain information about the computer being used to view that web page or other document. The entity that sends the tag can view the IP address of the computer that the tag is sent to, the time it was sent, the user’s operating system and browser type, and similar information.
In addition to our own tracking technologies, from time to time, we may engage certain of our third party partners to place their respective tracking technologies, such as cookies and pixel tags, on our Site to collect non-personally identifiable information about individual users who view or interact with the Site. These third parties may then associate such information with other information, including Personally Identifiable Information, that they have collected about such users’ online activities over time and across different websites and other online services and, to the extent they do so, they will provide such information to us and we may use it in accordance with this Policy. In addition, these third parties may use the information they collect via the Site for their own purposes to confirm or refresh existing information they have previously collected about such users. Should they do so, we will request that they use the refreshed information only in compliance with this Policy.
Personally Identifiable Information That You Voluntarily Provide Us. We may provide you with the opportunity to provide certain Personally Identifiable Information to us via the Site. For purposes of this Policy, “Personally Identifiable Information” refers to any information that identifies you or allows people to contact you. This may include, without limitation, your name, mailing address, telephone number, gender, age, and/or e-mail address. As a visitor to the Site, you are not required to submit any Personally Identifiable Information via the Site; however, should you choose not to provide certain information, some of our services and certain features of the Site may not be available to you. To the extent that you elect to provide Personally Identifiable Information via the Site, we will collect it and use it as set forth in this Policy.
Data From Other Sources. From time to time, we may collect information about you that is provided to us through third party sources, such as affiliates, data aggregators, and public databases. Additionally, if you arrive at the Site by “clicking through” from an email or another website, then certain information about you that you provided to that email sender or other website (for example, the terms you were searching on that led you to the Site) may be transmitted to us and we may use it. Any information from such third party sources may also be combined or associated with other data or Personally Identifiable Information that we have collected about you.
Please be aware that, to the extent that any websites or applications of our affiliates or other third parties are accessible through the Site, they are not subject to this Policy. Further, when you click on links to websites outside of the Site, such parties may place their cookies or other technological devices on your Internet browser, independent of the Site. Please be advised that we have no control over these parties and no responsibility for the technologies they employ. In no event are we responsible for any actions, content of websites, or privacy policies and practices of our affiliates or any other third parties.
Before using or providing any information on or through any third party website or application, you should read and understand the privacy policies and practices of that website or application. If we receive any information from third party sites, we will only use it in accordance with this Policy, unless otherwise directed by the applicable entity providing the information.
We may use the information that we collect as follows:
From time to time, we may transmit our data to third-party service providers, such as data storage and processing facilities ("Service Providers"), in order for those Service Providers to perform business functions for us or on our behalf. Any Service Providers with direct access to our data shall be bound to comply with the terms of this Policy with respect to any information collected and maintained in accordance with this Policy.
In addition, we may share your Personally Identifiable Information (i) in response to any legal process, (ii) to comply with applicable law, (iii) to enforce our legal and contractual rights, (iv) to mitigage our liability, (v) to protect our rights and property and/or that of others or (vi) if we believe such disclosure may help prevent a violation of the law.
We may also disclose your information (both personally identifiable and otherwise) to our subsidiaries and affiliated companies. To the extent that we do so, we will request that they only use such information in compliance with this Policy.
By using the Site, you consent to any and all of the foregoing uses and disclosures.
We employ commercially reasonable measures to protect your Personally Identifiable Information from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Given that no system or e-mail transmission, or method of electronic storage is ever fully secure or error free, however, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Please keep this in mind when disclosing any Personally Identifiable Information to us or to any other party via the Internet or through e-mail.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently done so, we will promptly delete it.
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive user information, such as Social Security Numbers and other government Issued identifiers or financial account numbers, via the Site.
We may periodically contact you via email using information that you have provided via the Site. You may opt out of receiving any commercial emails from us by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of such emails.
We may periodically update this Policy, so please review this page frequently for any changes. The most current version of the Policy will always be posted on this page and will be effective when posted. You will be deemed to have been made aware of, to be subject to, and to have accepted the changes in any amended or revised Policy by your continued use of the Site after the date on which such revised Policy is posted. Please do not use the Site if you do not agree with the revised Policy.
